lisa + brian
a wedding right before hurricane roslyn

hurricane incoming
most people would have a conniption fit if they found out that their wedding could possibly be interrupted by a category 3 hurricane, but not lisa and brian. these two were some of the most carefree individuals i have ever met. they did everything they could to plan their mexico destination wedding to the best of their abilities. after that, they left it all up to god and hoped and prayed for the best.
the flow of the day
it helped out that they had one of the best planners in the business to be on the look out for the storm, and to plan accordingly. "what are we going to do if things get really bad?" she had everything planned out as perfectly as it could all be planned, and we were lucky enough to miss the hurricane by just a few hours. after the most beautiful ceremony, everyone was able to really soak in the moments during cocktail hour. lisa + brian wanted to find a wedding videographer with experience shooting weddings out of country, as well as have someone who could identify the "in-between, imperfect' moments that may slip by if you weren't paying attention to them.
grateful to have been there
i'm proud to say that they picked me to join them on their big day and i'm happy with the moments that i captured. lisa + brian preferred to have a wedding video that didn't have the traditional vows played over the top of the video, as they wanted the music to tell their love story.
take a peek at their final video!
